About Brotherhood: Phi Delta Theta was founded in 1848 at Miami University of Ohio. The brothers of Phi Delta Theta share a commitment to scholarship, individual growth, leadership and community service. We hold ourselves to the highest of standards as depicted in the Bond of Phi Delta Theta, the fundamental law of the Fraternity. We strive to live life by the higher standards of the Bond, devoting ourselves to friendship, high academic achievement, and moral integrity.
